The closest mark wins the coin. No draw, no luck.
Fair by design
The answer is sealed before you enter.
- Each judge marks the photo alone and never sees the others' marks.
- We take the middle mark of the panel.
- We publish a sealed code of that mark before entries open.
- When the round closes we publish the mark and the code, so anyone can check that nothing moved.
- Nobody who runs Kick for Gold can see the judges' mark before the round closes.
- Staff, judges, the people at the shoot and their families cannot enter.

What if a round doesn't fill?
Every paid round has a minimum number of entries. If it isn't reached by closing time, the round is cancelled and every player chooses either a full refund or credit worth 20% more than they paid.
